Richard is a Partner and Senior Trial Technician & Consultant for River City Trial Solutions.  Richard joined RCTS in 2020 after a long tenure at a national litigation support company. With over five years of experience in the industry, Richard has assisted on over 120 cases with over 60 of those to verdict. He has assisted on cases in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Washington, and Texas as well as the District of Columbia and Canada. Richard’s experience in jurisdictions around the country and its neighbors allows him to utilize the many different practices he has seen implemented across the nation.

Throughout his life, Richard has always had an interest and natural talent in not only learning but also teaching new and developing technology. Prior to becoming a trial technician, Richard had a twelve-year career of teaching and creating technology programs in schools in the United States and internationally across Asia.  Using his experience in education and his wealth of knowledge in technology, Richard brings a valuable and unique advantage to any trial team.  Richard enjoys the challenges that every new case brings and finds pleasure in helping his clients educate the jury on the facts of the case.

Richard serves as Director of Operations for RCTS and oversees the research and implementation of all technological solutions. Outside of trial he works vigorously to develop new practices and deploy the latest hardware and software utilized by our trial technicians and consultants.

When Richard is not working, he enjoys sailing the Chesapeake Bay or traveling abroad experiencing new cultures.  You may also find him working on personal projects of video and audio editing, a skill he picked up from being a former radio production editor.
